A visit in October entitles you entry to weekly drawings. Stop by the reception desk to add your name to the drawing…it’s free! In addition to weekly drawings there are activities that include a special scavenger hunt, selfie on the nature preserve, and coloring contest.These weekly activities are free and can win you some ODCMG swag. There are also programs throughout the month such as Owl Storytime and Wildlife Photography.

Treats and Trails
October 23rd and 24th – 5:00pm-8:00pm
Bring your entire family out for a safe and fun walk along the trails of the ODC Nature Preserve. There will be wildlife encounters, face painting, games and lots of candy. Don’t miss a barrel ride or seeing the live birds of prey. The North American Wildlife Exhibit in the new visitor’s center will be open for exploration throughout the event.
Children are encouraged to wear their costumes. All the ODC Nature Preserve trails are wheelchair, stroller and wagon-friendly. No registration necessary for this event.
Fee: $5 per vehicle
